Pancake Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 cup (240ml) buttermilk
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
- In a separate bowl, whisk buttermilk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and stir until just combined — a few lumps are fine.
- Let the batter rest for 5 minutes.
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and lightly grease with butter.
- Pour about ¼ cup of batter per pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface and the edges look set, about 2 minutes.
- Flip and cook for another 1–2 minutes until golden. Serve immediately.
